Immersed is a game that looks to take players on an exciting journey through movies. Developed by GameCo Studios, Immersed brings together many of the concepts and characters are seen in iconic films like The Matrix, Tron, and Alice in Wonderland. Using your quest headset, you will walk into different movie worlds, taking part in challenges that will test your knowledge of the movies you love.
GameCo Studios has developed a number of proprietary techniques to get players completely immersed in their game. One example is their HMD (head-mounted display) technology, which allows players to see the world that they are walking into without having any physical boundaries or obstructions on where they can walk.
A combination of technologies will also help players get immersed in the game. Eye tracking, surround sound technology, and body movement sensors for activities like dodging or flying allow Immersed to provide a true one-of-a-kind experience.
The game is set to launch on May 21st, 2019. It will be available in both the Oculus Quest store and on Steam.
