I really enjoyed playing Dash Dash World. It’s a go-kart racing game set in a cartoon world. The tracks have a quirky style of their own, but they also have elements that pay homage to the Nintendo classic that it seeks to emulate. The Rainbow Road is missing, but we do get some bright pastel squares. The gameplay stays roughly the same no matter what mode you’re playing in, though–you drive fast and avoid obstacles while shooting eggs at other drivers. There’s a lot to like about Dash Dash World, and the only things I really didn’t like were the game’s reliance on in-app purchases for continuing after death and the fact that there is a bit of IAP bloatware.
Overall, Dash Dash World is a very aesthetically pleasing game with fluid controls and fantastic music. The gameplay itself is top-notch and I’ve had fun every time I’ve played the game. It’s also good to know that the developers are dedicated to updating the game, which is definitely a plus. Dash Dash World is one of the best games I’ve played in this genre, and I recommend it highly to anyone looking for a fun racing experience.
The colourfully stylized tracks alone make this game worth playing over and over again. The controls are wonderfully tight and it’s a blast zooming around the courses. The music is awesome too, and I find myself jamming out to the tracks as I play. The item mechanic is a lot of fun and adds a ton of replayability to each race. All in all, I’d say that this game easily deserves five stars, maybe even more.
Dash Dash World is a great game that has solid controls and well-designed tracks. The in-app purchases are annoying, but the game itself is good enough to be worth playing even without them. This is definitely one of my favorite Oculus games, and I can see myself playing it for years to come.
I’m not sure what it says about me, but I keep finding myself drawn to this game and playing it in my spare time. I like everything about it: the music, the way your car handles, and especially the visuals. The tracks are well designed and there’s a lot of variety between them. The controls are responsive and tight. All-in-all this is a solid game that I think anyone with an Oculus will like.
I’ve seen some mixed reviews on Steam and elsewhere about this game and I’m happy to say that my experience has been great. The gameplay is fantastic, the music is excellent, and running around in VR feels incredibly natural–so much so that I got lost in the spirit of the game and forgot about the real world for a good five minutes. I was even more surprised to find myself running around in my living room with Oculus remote in hand, looking for online opponents to race against. If you’re interested at all in racing games, this game is definitely worth buying.

The game is great overall, but it would be nice to have more variety in the cars–especially official licenses, which would add even more value to the game. Other than that, though, there isn’t much room for improvement. This is definitely one of my top five favorite games on the Oculus.
